If you love urban dance styles, Cuban rhythms, and vibrant movement, this is the place to be! Join us at Bosei Idrætshøjskole for an inspiring summer dance camp surrounded by nature near Præstø in South Zealand, Denmark. With workshops for all levels, our camps welcome everyone — beginners to advanced, singles and friends alike.
Join us for an experience you’ll remember long after summer ends. Meet new people, train with inspiring instructors, and immerse yourself in days filled with dance, energy, and connection. Once you’ve tried our camp, we’re pretty sure you’ll want to come back again.

URBAN DANCE CAMP
The camp is located near Præstø town in a lovely scenic area surrounded by forest. In Præstø town, you will also find a small beach area. It is an hour drive by car from Copenhagen and it is also easy to get there by public transport.
At the camp you can choose daily between many different workshops: Dancehall, Reggaetón, Twerk, Girly Hip Hop, Hip Hop, Dance Mix, Chair Dance, Burlesque, Lady Style, Afrobeat, Jazz & Modern Dance, Salsa, Bachata, and more.
We will also have yoga for those who are interested, and there will also be an opportunity to play volleyball, Beach Volley, try Self Defense technique, CrossFit, Climbing Wall and other sports activities. At Bosei they have a fitness centre and a swimming pool for everyone to use and there will also be Sauna-gus followed by meditation.
WHAT TO EXPECT
You will dance to great rhythms in a relaxed atmosphere, where you'll meet a lot of new people, who share the same interests. You can choose to participate in 5-7 hours of classes per day and in the evening we have talks and parties.
The spare time in between classes can be spent on the beach, shopping in Præstø, a walk in the forest, or a visit to our masseuse, that we have at the camp. Everyone is welcome at the camp regardless of your dance level, beginner, improver, intermediate and advanced. The classes will be devided into levels, so everyone gets an amazing experience.
At the school, a very delicious buffet will be served 3 times a day and there will be vegan and vegetarian buffet as well and lactose free and gluten free produts.
The last evening we will have a big dance party
The prices is between 3000-6500 DKK depending on whether you choose to stay at the Camp/school or attend as a student and have accommodation someplace else. If it is with accommodation you can have a single or a double room at the folk school, or you can bring a tent. There is a discount of 500 DKK if you bring a friend. Have a look at the pricelist

FACILITIES AT BOSEI
The main building was originally a sanatorium, and since they have expanded with Japanese-inspired buildings.
There is a swimming hall, workout center, several activities- and sports rooms, and a fantastic natural environment. There is also a Japanese library, creative workshop, music room and much more. Around the buildings, there is woods, a soccer field, tennis courts and more. It is not far away from the ocean, so it is possible to also take a beach trip.
As a participant, you can make use of all the facilities without extra charge.
