ROOTED IN MOVEMENT & URBAN CULTURE
At the heart of ELSTUDIO Urban Dance Camp is a deep love for movement, music, and community. The camp is organized by ELSTUDIO, a Copenhagen-based dance school and cultural association that has been creating joyful, accessible, and inspiring dance experiences since the year 2000.
Our focus has always been on the joy of dancing — not perfection.
We believe dance should be inclusive, energetic, and open to everyone, regardless of background, age, or experience.
OVER 20 YEARS OF DANCE COMMUNITY
For more than two decades, ELSTUDIO has been a vibrant part of the Danish dance scene. What started as a small initiative has grown into a welcoming dance community offering weekly classes for children, teens, adults, beginners, and experienced dancers alike.
The Urban Dance Camp is a natural extension of this journey — bringing together dancers from different styles and backgrounds for one intense, playful, and inspiring summer week.
A SPACE FOR EVERYONE
At ELSTUDIO, you don’t need special clothes, perfect technique, or a dance partner to join. The atmosphere is relaxed, open, and supportive, and everyone is encouraged to dance in their own way.

Urban Dance Camp is for women and men, singles and friends, beginners and advanced dancers — all sharing the same love for movement.

Beyond classes, ELSTUDIO is deeply involved in events, performances, festivals, and cultural projects throughout the year — from local events and club nights to larger festivals and international collaborations.

CULTURE, MOVEMENT & COMMUNITY
ELSTUDIO operates as an open and non-political cultural platform where dance, movement, and community come together. Through the Urban Dance Camp, we support artistic exchange, creative collaboration, and inclusive spaces where dancers from different backgrounds can connect and grow.
Any surplus from the camp is reinvested into future dance activities, events, and community projects — ensuring development, continuity, and access to dance for everyone. Through ELSTUDIO, it is also possible to book dance classes, workshops, performances, and events throughout the year.
